Patriots fans beware, the Iceman cometh. No, we’re not talking about his upcoming album.

Drake has made his Super Bowl 2026 pick and given his betting track record, it’s not good news for New Englanders.

Drake placed a hefty $1 million wager on Patriots through the sports betting platform Stake that would net him nearly $3 million if the Pats pull off the upset.

Drake's bet of $1,000,000 on the New England Patriots to win with an estimated payout of $2,950,000.Drake has a chance to win a massive sum if the Patriots emerge victorious.

Most sportsbooks have the Seahawks listed as 4.5-point favorites and the Patriots are as high as +200 underdogs on the moneyline across the market.

Drake’s has a history of wagering huge sums on big sporting events and losing big in the process. So much so that whenever he does make a wager, fans call it the “Drake curse” almost immediately.

This past December, he placed a $200,000 bet on Jake Paul to defeat Anthony Joshua. Paul ended up with a broken jaw to go along with his loss. In September, he dropped $300K on Jannik Sinner to win the U.S. Open before Sinner lost to Carlos Alcaraz in the men’s final.

Even betting on his countrymen to win the Stanley Cup didn’t go his way. He lost a $500K wager on the Edmonton Oilers to win the Cup in 2024 — they came up short in Game 7 with a 2-1 loss.

His most brutal loss was arguably his $300K wager on Canada to beat Argentina in the Copa America semifinals. After the Argentinians beat the Canadians, the official account for the Argentinian National Football team posted a pictured of their players celebrating with the caption “Not like us, not with us” as a nod to Kendrick Lamar’s smash hit diss song about him.

Brutal.

There’s a glimmer of hope for Drake and Patriots fans, though. Drake did cash in on a $1.3 million Super Bowl wager just four years ago between the Rams and Bengals.

Some would say he’s due for a win.
