It's not easy to find a quality quarterback in the late rounds of the NFL Draft.

Although as you'll surely be reminded on Saturday during the 2026 edition, Tom Brady was a sixth-round pick.

That has hope spring eternal anytime a QB goes off the board, even as the draft gets pretty deep. 

The fourth through seventh rounds conclude proceedings on Saturday, and so far, four quarterbacks have been taken.

The Raiders got Fernando Mendoza

The Rams got Ty Simpson.

And then in the third round, the Cardinals took Carson Beck and the Steelers took Drew Allar.

There are still some names left on the board worth knowing.

Best QBs available on Day 3 of 2026 NFL Draft

Most would say the top name left on the board is LSU's Garrett Nussmeier.

Beyond him are a couple of high-end athletes: Cole Payton of North Dakota State and Taylen Green of Arkansas.

Cade Klubnik of Clemson will likely get picked after entering the 2025 season with lots of hype before falling flat.

Vanderbilt's Diego Pavia comes with a lot of name brand.

Other names worth knowing include Georgia Tech's Haynes King, UConn's Joe Fagnano, Tennessee's Joey Aguilar, Baylor's Sawyer Robertson, Rutger's Athan Kaliakmanis, and Illinois' Luke Altmyer.

Other guys listed on some draft boards include Iowa's Mark Gronowski, Kansas' Jalon Daniels, Texas Tech's Behren Morton, MSU-Moorhead's Jack Strand, Missouri State's Jacob Clark and Louisville's Miller Moss.
