Erika Kirk broke her silence on her private meeting with Candace Owens. On December 21, Fox News Sunday shared a preview of an upcoming interview with Erika Kirk. In this upcoming interview, the TPUSA CEO will discuss faith with Shannon Bream. The media house also shared another clip in which Charlie Kirk's wife discussed her recent meeting with Candace Owens.
In the shared preview, Bream asked Erika Kirk whether she had found a "common ground" with Candace Owens after meeting her in person. Erika Kirk set the record straight and said she and her COO, Justin Streiff, went into the meeting and provided what was needed. She said:
"I'm not going to speak on her behalf... Provided what we wanted to provide to show context, and also to show we have nothing to hide... And you just let the Lord do the rest. But I'm not going to sit and judge how anyone interpreted anything outside of myself. So I pray for her. I pray for her family and let the Lord handle the rest. We're building. I don't have time for the noise. I said my piece, and that's it. And we get back to work. This marked the first time Erika Kirk publicly spoke about her private meeting with Candace Owens.
For the unversed, the conservative podcaster has made several accusations against Turning Point since Charlie Kirk's assassination. A few weeks back, Erika Kirk finally addressed Owens' accusations in several interviews and asked the podcaster to "stop" making them. In return, the former Daily Wire host began aiming at Charlie Kirk's wife.
The TPUSA CEO invited Owens for a private meeting and announced it on X. The political commentator also accepted the proposal, and the closed-door discussion took place on December 15. Both the Candace host and Erika Kirk shared posts on X and labeled the meeting productive.
Candace Owens also detailed meeting minutes in her podcast episode. However, she continued making several accusations and refused to believe that Tyler Robinson killed Charlie Kirk.
Erika Kirk took a subtle dig at Candace Owens' Egyptian plane theory at AmFest
BREAKING: Erika Kirk delivers a clear jab at Candace Owens. “We have 25 countries represented here, plus Puerto Rico — Don’t worry Guys, Egypt is not on the list.”
TPUSA's annual event, AmFest, concluded on Sunday. On the opening day, the organization's CEO made a cryptic remark about Owens' Egyptian plane theory. For context, Candace Owens claimed that two Egyptian planes had been following Erika Kirk for years before Kirk's murder. She also questioned the alleged presence of these planes at Provo airport on the day Kirk was shot.
While describing the AmericaFest, Erika Kirk, in her speech, said:
"We have 40 breakout sessions, 178 sponsors, and all 50 states represented. We have 25 countries represented, plus Puerto Rico. But I have the list here. Don't worry, guys, Egypt is not on the list. Don't worry about that. Oh, how funny. I say 'Egypt,' and my iPad turns on. That's fun."On the same day, Ben Shapiro took the AmFest stage and blasted Owens for her theories surrounding Kirk's murder. Owens also clapped back at him and referred to him as a "parasite."
Candace Owens also took a shot at TPUSA's annual event after it was concluded. Comedian Tim Dillon recently called Turning Point's event a "bad reality drama." In her X post, Owens agreed with Dillon and said that AmFest felt "out of touch and elite" to her.
