The Miami Dolphins have needed a ton of wide receiver help after cutting Tyreek Hill and trading away Jaylen Waddle.

They've added a ton of talent already in the draft, selecting Caleb Douglas in the third round, and Chris Bell only a few picks later near the end of Round 3.

But that's not all. According to NFL insider Aaron Wilson, the Dolphins have drafted another WR in Missouri's Kevin Coleman Jr.

Dolphins draft 3rd WR to reshape depth chart

The Dolphins have drafted Coleman, the 5-foot-11, 180-pound receiver who is 22 years old and coming off a decent season for Missouri in 2025.

He caught 66 passes for 732 yards and one touchdown. But back in 2024, he caught 74 passes for 932 yards and six touchdowns.

While he might not be the most prolific receiving threat, and his 4.49 40-yard dash time at the NFL Scouting Combine might not be the most eye-catching, this is some much-needed depth for the WR room.

Malik Washington, Tutu Atwell, Jalen Tolbert, Theo Wease Jr., Tahj Washington, and Terrace Marshall Jr. made up the Dolphins WR room before the draft.

Fortunately, Jon-Eric Sullivan and Jeff Hafley added a ton of help, selecting Caleb Douglas, Chris Bell, and now Kevin Coleman Jr. to create a deep WR room.

While there might be questions over how good this WR room will actually be, the Dolphins taking a chance on multiple players in this year's class is the right move.

Malik Willis needs some targets, and with this nine-player deep depth chart, things will look a lot different in 2026 than they have for the last few seasons.
