Shohei Ohtani hasn't held back on his goals for this season.
The Los Angeles Dodgers' two-way superstar has said that he wants to win a Cy Young as the best pitcher in the National League.
Ohtani certainly is one of the most gifted pitchers on the planet, but his overall usage is sometimes monitored closely by the Dodgers to ensure he can continue to be a superstar in all facets for L.A.
With that in mind, Ohtani begins his quest on Tuesday night.
The Dodgers have Ohtani slated to be their starting pitcher against the Cleveland Guardians. It'll be his season debut on the mound.
And it seems likely that Ohtani will have plenty of leeway to make his mark.

Is Shohei Ohtani on a pitch count?
Ohtani likely is on a conceptual pitch count on Tuesday night, but it would be a solidly high number.
In his last outing of the exhibition season, he threw 86 pitches, which means he's almost fully stretched out.
Obviously, the Dodgers will be careful with the best baseball player on the planet. If he has any particularly long or stressful innings, that could spell the end of his night.
But if Ohtani is cruising along, it wouldn't be shocking to see him throw between 90 and 100 pitches.
And if that happens, it's probably a good sign for the Dodgers' chances of winning the game.
