Dodgers' Andy Pages reminds MLB that he is, in fact, human

1 hour ago 3

Andy Pages is human.

You'd be forgiven for having forgotten that lately as the Los Angeles Dodgers' centerfielder went on an absolutely absurd tear.

But on Wednesday in Toronto, Pages was 0-for-4 with four strikeouts. Not a day to write home about, but a good reason to check out just how good he had been lately.

The hot streak started on March 30, when Pages went 2-for-4.

He went 2-for-4 on March 31 with two RBI.

On April 1, it was 3-for-3 with a double.

Then April 3, 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and a walk.

On April 4, Pages was 3-for-5 with another home run and three RBI and a steal.

The next game, Pages was just 1-for-4, a double, with a walk.

When the Dodgers arrived in Toronto on April 6, Pages was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI.

Then on Tuesday, it was 1-for-4.

That set up his brutal Wednesday late afternoon up north.

Dylan Cease had it going on for the Blue Jays, and Pages had no answer.

But there is plenty more baseball, and Pages is still hitting .413 with a 1.112 OPS.

Everyone has an off day, even a red-hot Andy Pages.
