Do Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift own a horse in the 2026 Kentucky Derby?

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift began trending this week, and it wasn't in connection to their upcoming wedding but to the 2026 Kentucky Derby.

It's rumored that the superstar couple has put a 10 percent stake in the 2026 Kentucky Derby racehorse, The Puma.

A fan account ignited the rumor when they wrote it on X earlier this week, which got fans excited about a potential sighting of the couple on  Saturday, May 2, when the 152nd Kentucky Derby is set to begin.

Earlier this week, Puma opened at +1000 with its original chances at 10-1. Then later this week, it jumped to a +350 after it started trending on social media, according to Page Six.

However, while Kelce purchased a stake in a racehorse, Swift Delivery, in August 2024, there is no evidence tying the couple to Puma, according to the Michael Lavarone, a co-owner of the horse.

"OK people. Everyone asking me if Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are partners on The Puma," Lavarone wrote on his Instagram Story per Fox News. "All I can say is I signed an NDA, so I can’t confirm or deny."

While Kelce has shared a public interest in horses and attended the Kentucky Derby in 2024, Swift has not.

They are, however, gearing up to reportedly get married on July 3 in New York City after Kelce proposed last year.

The 2026 Kentucky Derby will take place on Saturday, May 2, at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky.
