The Detroit Lions are looking to get over .500 for the first time this season when they take on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3.
Both teams have begun the year 1-1, with the Lions losing their season-opener to the Green Bay Packers before smacking the Chicago Bears by a score of 52-21 last weekend.
Meanwhile, the Ravens also started their season off with a loss after an epic collapse against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1, but Baltimore quickly righted the ship by destroying the lowly Cleveland Browns in Week 2.
This will be the eighth meeting between these two franchises all time. The Ravens have owned Detroit in the previous seven matchups, winning six of them. Detroit hasn't beaten the Ravens since 2005 and has never won in Baltimore.
Do the Lions play today?
No, the Lions will not take the field on Sunday, as they've drawn a "Monday Night Football" matchup against the Ravens in Baltimore for Week 3, so fans will have to wait another day to see their team suit up.
With the game being on Monday night, it will be broadcast on both ESPN and ABC, with kickoff set for 8:15 p.m. ET.
Since 1999, the Lions have compiled an 8-8 mark on Monday night games, per StatMuse. The Ravens are 19-13 in the primetime contest since 2001.
