North Mumbai Panthers (NMP) captain Prithvi Shaw delivered a blazing half-century in the 19th match of T20 Mumbai 2025 against Triumphs Knights MNE (TKMNE) on Sunday, June 8. The encounter took place at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai.

After electing to bat first, the Panthers lost Divyansh Saxena early for just one run. However, skipper Prithvi Shaw ignited the innings, smashing three fours and a six in the fourth over off Parth Kunal Naik. He followed that with an explosive 26 runs in the next over against Minad Manjrekar, featuring five fours and a six. Shaw reached his fifty off just 23 balls.

He went on to score a brilliant 75 from 34 deliveries, including 12 fours and three sixes.

Harshal Jadhav added a valuable 46 runs off 30 balls, with two fours and three sixes. In the closing overs, Rahul Sawant remained unbeaten on 26 from nine balls, helping the Panthers finish strongly at 207/6 in their 20 overs.


Prithvi Shaw’s blistering fifty helps North Mumbai Panthers win by 38 runs

Chasing a target of 208, the Triumphs Knights MNE opening pair of Siddhant Aadhhathrao and Shikhar Thakur put on 42 runs for the first wicket before the latter was dismissed for 11.

Siddhant then partnered with Parikshit Valsangkar, and together they added 71 runs off 38 balls for the second wicket. Parikshit scored 20 off 15 balls, while Siddhant played a powerful innings of 76 runs from 45 balls, including seven fours and five sixes.

In the middle order, captain Suryakumar Yadav contributed 29 runs off 16 balls. However, other batters—Jay Sanjay Jain (8), Suryansh Shedge (2), and Makarand Giresh Patil (2)—failed to make a significant impact as the Triumphs Knights were bowled out for 169 in 19.5 overs, falling short by 38 runs.
