In under four hours of posting, the tweet about Antetokounmpo being traded to San Antonio has 2.2 million views, 24,000 likes and 950 replies.
Several NBA players have previously been fooled by a satirical post by NBACentel, including Draymond Green, Kevin Durant and Tyler Herro. Sports analysts Stephen A. Smith and Colin Cowherd have also been fooled by the parody account.
Coming into Thursday's game against the visiting Boston Celtics, the Bucks are 10-15 and have lost 10 of their last 12 games. Amid this tough stretch, speculation has increased that Giannis Antetokounmpo might soon request a trade.

With Giannis Antetokounmpo trade rumors heating up recently, the Milwaukee Bucks have made it known that their superstar is not available in trade discussions.
In Thursday's episode of "Clutch Scoops," NBA insider Brett Siegel said the Bucks have indicated their reluctance to engage rival teams in trade conversations about Antetokounmpo.
"The Bucks are not taking any calls on him," Siegel said (Timestamp: 4:04). "Teams that have inquired about Giannis have basically been told no, and there have been no trade negotiations to this point surrounding Giannis."Siegel added that Antetokounmpo has not "definitively said" that he wants to be traded. However, Siegel said that teams will keep a close eye on the 2021 NBA Finals MVP's situation as Milwaukee approaches a critical stretch.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has previously said that he wants to contend for championships, and if the Bucks do not rack up wins, he will definitely ask to be traded.
