The NHL trade deadline is Friday, and Vancouver Canucks star Elias Pettersson is involved in plenty of trade rumors.

Did Elias Pettersson get traded?
No, as of midday Monday, Pettersson has not been traded.
That is true despite the fact that a parody account is getting a lot of views on X for having shared this:
Pettersson to DET for Danielson and 2026 First

That is not the real account of Elliotte Friedman, the Sportsnet insider.
Instead, it's an account that literally has the word "parody" in its bio on X.
For now, Pettersson remains a Canuck.
There's still a very real possibility the Swedish star gets traded, although his contract is a bit of an obstacle for a forward who hasn't maintained his scoring efficiency this season.
Vancouver in general will likely be busy selling off parts the rest of the week, and Detroit will likely do some buying.
Whether Pettersson gets involved in any of that, though, remains to be seen.
