Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns have had an impressive 2025-26 season, as they have a 32-22 record. This is much better compared to their struggles over the past few seasons.
Unfortunately for the Suns, they have dealt with injury issues throughout the season. Jalen Green has been struggling with constant hamstring injuries, and Booker has also been dealing with ankle issues recently.
Booker's ankle troubles continue to be an issue for Phoenix
Head coach Jordan Ott wants to be careful with both Green and Booker after recovering from their injuries. The situation with Green is particularly troubling because they are worried that he could re-aggravate the hamstring again.
Booker returned a bit earlier than expected from his ankle injury, so the Suns want to be careful with his return as well. Since Tuesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks was the first leg of a back-to-back, Booker's presence in the second leg is questionable.

On Wednesday, the Suns will be playing against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Considering it is an important game that will see them go against the defending champions, the Suns would love to have Booker and Green.
However, the Suns will only make that choice when the day rolls around. After the Mavericks game, the Suns will give the players some time to recover and find out if they can play.
"Seeing how it feels, usually the next day is the tough day. For now, just making sure the swelling is a bit down and manageable," Booker said after the Suns' win against the Mavericks.
The Suns are taking the right approach, especially with what happened to Green earlier this season. He was ready to go in November, but after injuring his hamstring again, the Suns have become more careful.
It will be tough against the Thunder, but they will be ready to compete. With Dillon Brooks playing high-level basketball this season, the Suns will always be a threat.
