Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff and wife Christen welcome their first child

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff has just become a father for the first time. 

The 30-year-old NFL player and his wife, Christen Harper Goff, 32, announced the birth of their first child on Instagram on Tuesday, July 15. 

The couple included a carousel of black-and-white photos capturing some of their newborn daughter's sweet first moments in the IG drop. 

"Romy Isabelle Goff 💌," the caption read. 

The first photo showed off the side of the precious newborn's face, while she was wrapped in a tiny blanket holding her mother's hand. 

The next snap showed the NFL quarterback cradling his tiny daughter, wrapped tightly in a blanket with a tiny bow bonnet on her head, in the hospital.
