Speaking to TalkSport, world title contender Derek Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs) revealed who the greatest opponent he has shared the ring with is, simply stating, "Usyk," without hesitation. "You can't box that guy. He's an animal."
Chisora fought Usyk in October 2020. After becoming undisputed at cruiserweight, the Ukrainian moved up to heavyweight for his next challenge. His debut at the weight came against Chazz Witherspoon in October 2019, stopping the son of Tim Witherspoon after seven one-sided rounds.
It was a whole year later when Usyk came to England to fight Chisora for his WBO Inter-Continental heavyweight title, which the Brit had previously won from David Price.
Chisora certainly made things uncomfortable for the visitor, but it was a clear win for the Ukrainian.
Delboy continued, "I have shared the ring with a lot of top fighters, but there's no doubt it's Usyk, because the way he gets you going, his movement is there. Every time you have to adjust, do you understand?"
