Denzel Boston is not looking for controversy after he was recently thrown into the enigmatic question regarding the Cleveland Browns' quarterback situation.
The second-round pick has been catching balls from both QBs, Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders, during the recent practice sessions. At this point, Watson has the edge to start, but head coach Todd Monken might wait till preseason to announce his decision.
In the meantime, Boston was asked what's going around in the camp about the quarterback situation. The receiver from the University of Washington refrained from spilling any beans and rather said:
"You know, I'm not really paying attention to what reps are with who, you know, I'll just go out there and just try to produce for whoever pass me the ball," Boston said on The Insiders. "You know, I think Dillon (Gabriel), I think Shedeur, and I also think, you know, Deshaun Watson have all put on a great show. And so far in OTAs, you know, that decision has nothing to do with me. I just go out there and ball, make plays for them."
Boston was drafted in the second round by the Browns, who also picked KC Concepcion in the first round. Boston has left everyone impressed by his work in the ongoing OTAs.

Denzel Boston thrown into familiar situation with Browns
It appears Denzel Boston has been thrown into a familiar territory. The Browns' rookie haven't really had a stable quarterback since high school. As such, it doesn't really affect him that much in terms of who is throwing to him.
"I mean, my whole life since high school, I haven't really had a stable quarterback," Boston said. "So I'm used to having different quarterbacks throwing to me each and every year. So, you know, it doesn't affect me too much."
However, Boston does agree that "different ball space, different touches on the ball can be a difference maker."
With Watson entering the final year of his guaranteed contract, the Browns might be compelled to play him ahead of Shedeur Sanders, who delivered promising games late in the season. This is also why Watson is getting more first-team reps in the OTAs.
