The Denver Broncos have won seven games in a row to get to 8-2 on the season. Not only have they won all of their games at home, but the team has not lost a game at Empower Field since last October.
The Broncos are riding a 10-game home winning streak. The last team to beat them in Denver was the Los Angeles Chargers, 23-16, in Week 6 last season.
However, none of that was enough to sway the oddsmakers. With the Kansas City Chiefs coming to town, the Broncos are listed as 3.5-point underdogs. There are many who won't argue that. The Chiefs are still the Chiefs and Andy Reid is 22-4 in his career in games following a bye week.
How many times in NFL history has a team on a 10+ game home winning streak been an underdog? Well, you could almost count the instances on one hand.

— MikeKlis9NEWS (@mikeklis9news) November 13, 2025It hasn't happened since November 2007, when the 7-0 Indianapolis Colts faced the 8-0 New England Patriots in Indy. The Patriots won that game 24-20. In fact, the oddsmakers have been proven right in nearly every one of these games, which may not bode well for the Broncos.
The only home team to get a win in one of these situations was the 1978 Los Angeles Rams, who were four-point underdogs at home against the Dallas Cowboys, and won the game 27-14.
The Broncos have had several impressive home winning streaks during their franchise history, and this one is beginning to approach that territory. Of course, the Broncos hold the third-best home winning streak in NFL history at 24 games, which started on September 1, 1996, and lasted until September 13, 1999.
The Broncos are 2-0 at home against the Chiefs under head coach Sean Payton. Prior to that, Kansas City took eight in a row from them on the road.
