The Issue: Dems’ lack of praise for President Trump’s Gaza peace deal, including the release of hostages.
President Trump has done an amazing thing by ending the war in the Middle East and getting the hostages released — yet you hear no praise from Democrats (“Dems playing mum,” Oct. 14).
Where is former President Barack Obama?
He should’ve been first in line to acknowledge the unbelievable feat Trump has accomplished.
I believe the reason he will not acknowledge it is that it showcases his own ineptitude in dealing with this issue.

If there was ever any hope Trump could overcome the hatred Democrat politicians have toward him, we now know there isn’t.
From past Democratic presidents on down, Trump’s name is not even mentioned, let alone celebrated, for his greatest achievement of all time.

Palestinians in Gaza poured into the streets to celebrate the cease-fire.
Yet on American campuses that have spent years shouting “cease-fire now,” there was near-silence.
The contrast could not be starker.
When Hamas murdered more than 1,200 Israelis in 2023, students, professors and administrators were jubilant.
Slaughter brought celebration.
Now, peace brings nothing at all.

What Trump has accomplished in the Middle East is nothing short of historic.
The return of the hostages from Gaza and the cooperation of so many nations to assist in implementing the remainder of Trump’s peace plan has been remarkable.
The reaction of the Democrats and the media is also remarkable — but in a completely different way.
The media and the Democrats have apparently decided that the best reaction is no reaction.
This is further evidence that their sick, twisted hatred for Trump has overruled any ability to think objectively and rationally.
They are a disgrace.

The left still won’t give Trump credit.
How do you explain all of this without giving Trump credit?
You’ve got former National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan saying this is the plan the Biden administration was working on and Trump just had better timing.
What a bunch of fools.

I couldn’t be more ecstatic that the hostages held by Hamas are now freed and reunited with their families after years of horror in captivity.
This is one of many reasons that Trump was elected instead of Kamala Harris.
Even some of the media and some Democrats are praising Trump, which I never thought I’d live to see.
My joy for this moment is somewhat tempered, however, by the knowledge of the hostages who were killed by Hamas.
Israel must remain strong and always be on guard so that no horrific attack like this will ever happen to them again.

With the Trump-brokered peace deal, Palestinians are celebrating in the streets.
Where are all the Hollywood celebrities publicly recognizing this momentous occasion?
I guess they are too busy changing their profile pictures back to the Ukrainian flag or a picture of Luigi Mangione.

Prayers have been answered.
Our hearts are full of admiration and gratitude for Trump, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
Their perseverance and tireless work — in spite of some bitter frustrations and setbacks — accomplished what people said could never be done.
They worked with fierce determination to assure the release of hostages and begin the road to peace once and for all.

For once in a long time, much of the world has a reason to rejoice.
Let’s be thankful for the blessings that sometimes come our way.
Also, is Orange Man still bad and not deserving of at least some respect?
