She’s cool for the summer.

Demi Lovato hit the pool in a sizzling black bandeau bikini, just weeks before the official start of summer.

In pics shared to Instagram Thursday, the “Confident” singer donned the chic two-piece number with a pair of basic black sunglasses for an impromptu photo shoot.

Lovato wore her hair down in beach waves and had a black scrunchie on her wrist as she waded in a hot tub and an infinity pool overlooking the ocean.

Lovato has been open about her issues with body image and her past struggles with eating disorders.

During a public appearance in November 2019, she confessed that she “doesn’t always feel positive” about her body, and shared that she’d come to a healthy place.

“All I have to say is, ‘I’m healthy,'” the star said at the 2019 Teen Vogue Summit.

“In that statement, I express gratitude,” she continued. “I am grateful for my strength and things I can do with my body. I am saying I’m healthy and I accept the way my body is today without changing anything.”

A year prior, she told Self that her fitness routine is part of what “empowers” her.

“It makes me feel stronger,” she said of working out.

“It makes me feel more confident. That, but also…doing things that will empower me, like going to therapy and doing things to really take care of myself.”

Elsewhere in the interview, she added, “I would say that taking care of your body will be really important for helping you with body image issues.”
