DeMar DeRozan just provided a rare bright spot in what has been a dismal season for the Sacramento Kings.
The Kings won only their 18th game of the 2025-26 NBA season on Sunday night, when they held off the Utah Jazz at Golden 1 Center. The 116-111 victory marked the Kings' fourth in their past five games; though they remain in the Western Conference's basement with an 18-51 record, the late surge at least shows that Sacramento is intent on ending the season on a high note.

DeRozan, a six-time All-Star and one of the more accomplished scorers of his era, continued his own recent stretch of excellent play in that win over the Jazz.
At 36 years and 220 days old, DeRozan dropped a 41-point, 11-assist double-double against Utah. In doing so, he became the oldest player in NBA history to record a 40-point/10-assist game.

— Real App (@realapp) March 16, 2026It's a record that not even LeBron James has down the coast in Los Angeles. In fact, James has not recorded a 40-point/10-assist double-double since 2018, when he played for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
