Last week, we covered Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days and then the aftermath – some phones kept their promotional prices from the Prime sale even during the weekend, while others went back up. Checking back again on them this week, we see that all phones now cost more. That is on Amazon, anyway, so we went over to see what Walmart has to offer.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 is currently $1,700 on Amazon, while it was $1,650 last week (this is for a 12/256GB unit). Walmart has it at $1,640, though, so it’s not too late to pick one up. One recurring issue that we ran into with Walmart, however, is that the retailer seems to only have 256GB units in stock for some models, while the 512GB variants are MIA. So, if you need a Z Fold8 with 512GB storage, you’re looking at a $1,900 price tag on Amazon (was $1,850 last week).

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is worse off – it was $1,700 for a 12/256GB unit during the Prime sale and even during the weekend after it. Now, Amazon wants $1,900 for the same phone. Walmart doesn’t quite match last week’s price, but it comes close at $1,750. Here’s our Z Fold8 vs. Z Fold8 Ultra article to help you pick between the two.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 had finally fallen under $1,000, but that was last week. This week both Amazon and Walmart want $1,050 for the base model (12/256GB). It’s only a $60 difference to last week’s price, but $1,000 is a major psychological threshold for some.

Moving on to the non-folding phones, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra was $950 on Amazon last week – and it’s exactly this price on Walmart now. Meanwhile, Amazon raised the asking price for the base 12/256GB model to $1,150, which is too much. Unlike with the Z phones, Walmart has the 512GB S26 models in stock. And Walmart’s price is actually better – $1,050, compared to Amazon’s $1,090 last week and $1,360 this week. The situation is similar with the Samsung Galaxy S26+, though the discounts aren’t as big. The base 12/256GB model is $835 (+$10 than Amazon’s price last week, but Amazon has no discount this week at all), while the 12/512GB model is actually cheaper at $945 (-$35). Here’s how the Galaxy S26+ stacks up against the S26 Ultra and against its predecessor.

If you prefer small phones, the Samsung Galaxy S26 now starts at $900 on Amazon, while it was $725 last week. Walmart can essentially match the old price of the base model and the 512GB upgrade is $10 less than it was during the Prime sale.

Last week, we also noted that the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE received its first major discount – the premium mid-ranger was much more palatable at $575 for an 8/128GB unit than at MSRP ($700). However, this week it’s a bit more expensive at $600 on both Amazon and Walmart. It’s not a huge difference, but it still matters.

We say that because Walmart has last year’s Samsung Galaxy S25 FE at $565 for an 8/256GB (note the extra storage). The 256GB variant of the new S26 FE is $700, so that’s a $135 difference in an apples-to-apples comparison. Is the new model worth the extra money?
