Dawn Staley saw multiple players from South Carolina get drafted in the 2025 WNBA Draft, including one of her standout guards who helped secure two NCAA national titles as a Gamecock.

Bree Hall was selected as the eighth pick in the second round by the Indiana Fever, but didn’t get a true opportunity to showcase her skills at the professional level as she was cut ahead of the season.

Known for being a consistent and reliable role player throughout her college career, Hall contributed steadily to South Carolina’s championship runs with her defense, leadership and timely scoring.

Now, the WNBA’s newest team, the Golden State Valkyries, have signed Bree Hall, giving her a fresh chance to prove herself and make an impact in the pros.
