Victoria Beckham Says She, David Beckham Don't Put "Any Pressure" on Kids Amid Brooklyn Beckham Feud

The ball is officially in Brooklyn Peltz Beckham’s court.

Indeed, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham included their eldest son in their tender Father’s Day tributes months after Brooklyn claimed his parents attempted to “ruin” his marriage with wife Nicola Peltz Beckham.

“Being a dad is my most important job... I love you all & thank you mummy @victoriabeckham For giving me our beautiful family,” David—also dad to Romeo Beckham, 23, Cruz Beckham, 21, and Harper Beckham, 14, with Victoria—captioned a June 21 Instagram post featuring multiple family photos. “Happy Father's Day to all the Dads around the world.”

In one throwback snap, a young Brooklyn holds his then-baby sister in his arms as his brothers smile for the camera beside him. In another snap, David smiles for a selfie with all four of his kids at an event.

And dad duty is nothing if not natural to David. As Victoria noted in her own June 21 Instagram post, “David you truly are the best daddy.”

“Your greatest achievement has always been our beautiful children and we love you so much,” she added. “Happy Father’s Day.”

The Spice Girls alum, for her part, also shared a throwback pic of her family, where David, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper posed for the camera while on a beach vacation.

And the pair’s kids of course hopped on the Father’s Day love train. As Romeo captioned a throwback photo with his dad on Instagram, “Happy Father’s Day to the best there is love u so much @davidbeckham.”

Meanwhile, Cruz added on Instagram Stories, “Happy father’s day dad x i love you.”

But it comes as no surprise that Brooklyn didn’t share a public message for his dad. After all, the 27-year-old announced earlier this year that he did “not want to reconcile” with his family amid their ongoing rift.

"I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life," the Cloud23 founder said in a Jan. 19 Instagram Story. "For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into."

Months after Brooklyn went public with the family’s fallout—which began ahead of his and Nicola’s 2022 wedding—Victoria broke her silence on the matter.

“We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be,” she told The Wall Street Journal in article published April 16. “And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it.”
