It's the British rapper's fourth single to hit the top spot and Tems' first.

Dave & Tems Gabriel Moses
Dave and Tems’ collaboration “Raindance” has hit the No. 1 spot on the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart dated Jan. 23.
The song, which featured on Dave’s The Boy Who Played the Harp LP, has spent 13 weeks inside the top 40 since its release in October, and lifts one place to take the No. 1 spot this week.
It marks Dave’s fourth chart-topper in the U.K. following “Funky Friday” (2018), “Starlight” (2022) and Central Cee collaboration “Sprinter” (2023), and makes him the U.K. rapper with the most No. 1s this decade. “Raindance” is Tems’ first appearance at the summit of the U.K.’s Singles Chart.
On Jan. 21, Dave scored three nominations for the upcoming BRIT Awards in Manchester to be held Feb. 28. His aforementioned LP will compete in the prestigious Mastercard album of the year category, and he also appears in the artist of the year and hip-hop/grime/rap act fields.
Djo’s two-week stint at No. 1 with 2022 hit “End of Beginning” comes to an end, though he falls only one spot to No. 2. RAYE’s “Where Is My Husband!” lifts one spot to No. 3, and it follows news that her forthcoming sophomore album, This Album May Contain Hope, is set for release on March. 27.
Bruno Mars’ “I Just Might” rises one spot to No. 5 from last week; the song debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 to give him his 10th chart-topper overall.
Zara Larsson’s 2016 hit “Lush Life” continues to enjoy its viral moment and climbs two spots to No. 7, while her role on a remix of PinkPantheress’ “Stateside” sees the song climb 11 places to No. 12.
Amid the fallout of Brooklyn Beckham’s explosive statement on Monday (Jan. 19) regarding his family’s alleged behavior at his wedding, Victoria Beckham’s 2001 single “Not Such an Innocent Girl” is the week’s bestselling single. The Official Charts Company reports a 19,615% surge week-on-week of sales, though it ultimately misses the Official Singles Chart top 100.
