Two traditional college football powers are set to face off against each other on Saturday afternoon.
No. 21 Michigan will be looking for its biggest victory of the season after being bested by Oklahoma, its only Power Four opponent to date, in its last road matchup. But Nebraska, with a perfect 3-0 record in tow, has an opportunity to place itself back on the map by winning against a ranked opponent for the first time since 2016.
Dave Portnoy — the founder of Barstool Sports, an analyst on Fox's "Big Noon Kickoff" show and a prominent University of Michigan alumnus — recently revealed which team he believes will win the game.

Portnoy appeared on a Sept. 18 episode of the "House Rhules" podcast, which is hosted by Nebraska head football coach Matt Rhule.
After nearly an hour of conversation, they both offered their predictions for this weekend's Michigan-Nebraska game. Unsurprisingly, Portnoy picked his alma mater to emerge victorious at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln.
"I love the quarterback [Bryce Underwood]. The first two games, he didn't run once — I'm sure you've seen the film. By all accounts, he runs, like, a 3.4 40 [40-yard dash]. And he's Superman. So, he finally ran last week; he had 100-something yards," Portnoy said. "I think Michigan's good. I don't think you guys are there yet. I'm going to go, like, 34-24 Michigan. I just love this kid. And I know you like [Dylan] Raiola, [but] I think this guy's a Hall of Fame quarterback. I think he's got it all. And that's not just because I played a factor in recruiting him. The throws he's made — he's got like a laser on his arm. He's so fast, but he's got to run the ball. I don't want conservative play-calling."
Rhule fired back with another not-so-shocking take: that he backs his own team in the contest.
"Well, I'm expecting us to win. The score doesn't matter — it can be 200-199, it could be 7-6," Rhule said. "I will say, I do feel like, on our end, people have taken the easy way out with Dylan, with our quarterback. They're just like 'Oh, the [Patrick] Mahomes thing.' And even when TV has done our games, that's the easy thing [to point out]. Meanwhile, the kid's completed 78% of his passes, he's a winner, he's playing hard, he's running the football. I just feel like they should just forget all of the other stuff and just watch the tape, make it about the football. Because I think he's played really well."
Portnoy and Rhule won't both be correct about their predicted outcomes for the game, but there is one thing they got right: the fact that the quarterback battle between Raiola and Underwood will be among the most highly anticipated positional duels in this weekend's slate of college football action.
