Dave Portnoy responds to ‘crazy’ Jordon Hudson concern after Bill Belichick interview drama: ‘She sees everything that is said’

Dave Portnoy is trying to avoid an awkward vacation run-in.

The Barstool founder discussed the time he met Jordon Hudson and the impression he got of the 24-year-old girlfriend of Bill Belichick as the fallout continues from the now infamous “CBS Sunday Morning” interview with the legendary coach.

“I had met Jordon and it was clear that she ran the show. She managed — we both were together at a speaking gig, she just ran the show. It was very obvious,” Portnoy said on “The Unnamed Show.”

Portnoy was then asked by co-host Ryan Whitney if it was “clear that she was crazy.”

“No. I don’t know what’s going on,” Portnoy said. “Let me put it this way, I know her and I know him and I’m going to see them, I’m sure, in Nantucket. She sees everything that is said. Am I afraid of her? No. Am I going to sit here and go out and say that she’s the craziest person I’ve ever seen? No, because I don’t want it to be awkward when I’m carrying my watermelon from Stop & Shop and I f–king bump into her.”

Portnoy has opined several times on Hudson and Belichick since their relationship was once again put under the spotlight with CBS showing Hudson interrupting the interview.

Portnoy said he believes the 73-year-old North Carolina coach — who has mocked social media in the past — is unaware of the many Instagram posts that Hudson has included him on.

Portnoy, an avid watcher of “CBS Sunday Morning,” said he was surprised that the relationship was mentioned in the interview and wondered if him tweeting the interaction was part of the reason the story blew up.

“It’s a feel good show. The opposite of controversial.” Portnoy tweeted Sunday along with the clip. “So (imagine) my surprise this morning when they had the most awkward Bill Belichick interview I’ve ever seen. Like I was squirming in my seat.”

Portnoy said he believes that CBS must have thought that Hudson was “so annoying” — and that is what prompted them to include the former cheerleader stopping the interview when Belichick was asked how the two met, which they have maintained was on a 2021 flight.

Within the CBS story, reporter Tony Dokoupil noted that it was not the only time that Hudson had disrupted the interview.

TMZ later reported that Hudson stormed off at one point and caused a 30-minute delay.

The two sides went back-and-forth on the interview on Wednesday with Belichick claiming that CBS broke an agreement about topics, with the focus expected to be on his upcoming book — “The Art of Winning.”

“Unfortunately, the expectation was not honored during the interview,” Belichick said in a statement that was put out by North Carolina.

“I was surprised when unrelated topics were introduced and I repeatedly expressed to the reporter, Tony Dokoupil, and the producers that I preferred to keep the conversation centered on the book. After the occurred several times, Jordon, with whom I share both a personal and professional relationship, stepped in to reiterate that point to help refocus the discussion.

“She was not deflecting any specific question or topic but simply doing her job to ensure the interview stayed on track. Some of the clips make it appear as though were were avoiding the question of how we met, but we have been open about the fact that Jordon and I met on a flight to Palm Beach in 2021.”

CBS later denied Belichick’s claim and said in a statement “there were no preconditions or limitations to this conversation.”
