Jannik Sinner has built a strong partnership with coach Darren Cahill in the past few years. Rennae Stubbs and Caitlin Thompson spoke about Cahill’s experience and smart tactics on a recent podcast.

Stubbs and Thompson also shared an interesting story about Cahill’s past. He chose to coach Andre Agassi instead of Marat Safin because Agassi offered him more money.

Darren Cahil has coached the likes of Andre Agassi, Lleyton Hewitt and Simona Halep in the past. He joined Agassi in 2002 and helped him win the Australian Open in 2003. The American also became the oldest player to secure the top spot in the ATP Rankings under Cahils partnership in 2003.

Stubbs and Ciatlin felt Cahil would surely be a part of Sinner's team next year. They also praised Sinner's incredible streak on indoor hardcourts.

"He's on an incredible winning streak indoors, it's really remarkable, but his game is so suited to indoors, he can just wallop the ball. Just wallop the ball. And I'm going to say and make a statement that I think Darren Cahill will be back next year, because look at that. How do you get rid of him," Stubbs and Caitlin discussed

Jannik Sinner and Darren Cahil have captured four Grand Slam titles together. They opened their account at the Australian Open in 2024 and captured their most recent crown at the Wimbledon Championships in 2025.

The duo are expected to continue their partnership next year. Cahil revealed his pact with Sinner after the latter won the Paris Masters this month.

"I am a man of my word, and we made a pact at Wimbledon. My future is in Jannik Sinner's hands. If he wants, I will stay," Darren Cahill said

Sinner has had an amazing run in the last few months. Apart from title-winning runs in Beijing and Vienna, he also claimed the honors at the Paris Masters.

The Italian will chase his third consecutive title at the Australian Open next year. He is expected to be the second seed at the event.
