Danny Booko, Nia Sanchez leaving ‘The Valley’ after 3 seasons: ‘Our priority is protecting our peace’

Danny Booko and Nia Sanchez announced their exit from “The Valley” following three seasons on the hit Bravo reality series.

“We wanted to share a quick update that we will not be returning to ‘The Valley.’ We’re incredibly grateful for this experience but our priority is protecting our peace and our family,” the couple shared in a joint Instagram post Tuesday.
 
“We are fully committed to each other and our beautiful children. We want to thank everyone for all the love and support you’ve shown us. Thank you to Bravo and the team for everything. We are looking forward to what the next chapter brings. 🤍”

Many fans in the comments section applauded the duo for making the decision.

“Do what’s best for your family and protect your peace,” one wrote.

“We love you & I look forward to watching your life off tv. Your beautiful family and marriage will be better for it ❤️” another added.

Their former co-star Kristen Doute commented “i love you sis 🩷,” while “Vanderpump Rules” alum Scheana Shay added, “PROTECT YOUR PEACE 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼.”

Booko and Sanchez were a part of the cast of “The Valley” since its premiere in 2024.

During the show’s first season, viewers watched the couple struggle to raise three children under the age of two, as their twin daughters were newborns when filming began and they already had toddler son Asher.

Although they mainly stayed out of the group drama during Season 1, the following season saw Booko specifically come under fire.

During Season 2, co-star Janet Caperna accused Booko of sexual assault.

Caperna called the actor out over an alleged incident with their castmates Jasmine Goode and Michelle Saniei. She claimed Booko grabbed Saniei’s backside and put a hand on Goode’s thigh while asking her to “get daddy a drink.”

Sanchez repeatedly defended her husband to the group and in confessionals.

Meanwhile, Booko apologized for his “out of character” actions during an April 2025 episode, saying, “How many times have I owned up for it? You can’t just keep bringing it up like that.”

In Season 3, Booko and Sanchez returned as parents of four children under the age of four. The pair welcomed their daughter Adelaide in June 2025. The former Miss USA admitted that she got pregnant “a little bit earlier” than planned.

Booko’s sexual assault allegation continued to follow him and caused cracks in his and Sanchez’s relationship. His drinking and tense behavior also attracted criticism from the group.

Back in May, Booko skipped out on his “Watch What Happens Live” appearance and issued a public apology to his wife for his behavior on the show.

“To the person I love most, my beautiful wife, I am so sorry,” he wrote via Instagram Stories at the time. “Watching these last few episodes back hasn’t been easy.

“It was a difficult season of life and a version of myself that I’m embarrassed by and not proud of,” he continued. “A short fuse, stress, alcohol and lack of sleep are never a good combination, but that’s not an excuse. I should never have taken any of it out on [my partner].”

“WWHL” host Andy Cohen addressed Booko’s absence and told viewers, “He booked a job and had to cancel to work.” 

“I believe him because if he canceled because he was scared to come here, we would have heard from our publicist that he’s not up for it,” Cohen insisted, despite many fans not buying the excuse.

At the Season 3 reunion, as Booko and Sanchez received a lot of heat from their co-stars, they also revealed they were in marriage counseling.

Sanchez insisted that they are in a much better place and still love each other.

The reunion got especially heated when the cast began to discuss an alleged drunken incident involving Booko at Goode’s wedding after-party.

However, Booko and Sanchez downplayed the incident and argued that he has since got his drinking under control.
