Dak Prescott limped off the field at halftime of the Cowboys’ 27-17 loss to the Cardinals on Monday folowing a hit from Calais Campbell. The quarterback rolled his ankle late in the second quarter but returned for the entire second half.

Dallas coach Brian Schottenheimer highlighted that Prescott was “OK” after the break. Prescott made it clear after the game that he was fine.

“I’m fine,” Prescott told reporters. “A little ankle roll at the end of the first half, but that’s fine going into a bye week. It will be more than great. I finished the game and I was fine on it, so it’s not even anything to have concerns about. With the extra time, I’m fine. Body’s great.”

"Now or never": Dak Prescott urges Cowboys after loss against Cardinals

After the Cowboys' loss to the Cardinals on Monday, Dak Prescott expressed frustration with the team's performance.

“They kicked our ass on both sides of the ball,” Prescott told reporters. “Very frustrating. It’s very frustrating, knowing that you’re better than that, and going out there, not putting on a performance that’s close to your standard.”

He also delivered a blunt message to his teammates, urging them to turn the season around.

“Every game is a must-win going forward,” Prescott said. “I know you say that, and you feel that in the NFL, and you should feel that, but when you put yourself in a position or behind like we have, it’s even more so that case.”

Prescott acknowledged that while many teams in the league have multiple losses, Dallas must flip the script immediately.

“You can catch a hot streak and be right there in the mix,” Prescott said. “That’s great, but you gotta get a streak going. And if you don’t get a streak going, you’re just putting yourself more and more behind the eight ball. It’s now or never.”

The Cowboys are entering their bye week ranked 11th in the NFC with eight games remaining.
