Maxxine Dupri reveals her goal as the WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion
Maxxine Dupri defeated Becky Lynch to win the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship on the November 17 edition of Monday Night RAW.
In a recent interview with Abe Kanan, Maxxine Dupri pointed out that both the previous champions, Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch, elevated the title. Dupri added that she was hoping to do the same. She further expressed her desire to be a "killer in the ring" during her title reign.
"You know, I think I have two thoughts on this. My first thought is that I do believe that Becky Lynch took this title and Lyra Valkyria took this title and elevated it and made it big time, and that is my goal is to continue to elevate this title. I want this title to be special for the women. With that being said, I know I have a lot of growth to do. So with every match, I want to keep getting to a place where I am just absolutely dominating and I’m a killer in the ring. I think with that, we’ll bring the next steps. But right now, my focus is making sure that this title is a big-time title," Dupri said.It remains to be seen who Maxxine Dupri will face in her second televised title defense.
