Crystal Palace have quietly stepped into the race for one of the most talked-about young talents.
The South London club, who have secured Europa League qualification, believe they can pull off a surprise summer signing that could shape their future and are working to convince 19-year-old Tyler Dibling that Selhurst Park is the right place for his next step.
The coaching staff, led by Oliver Glasner see the Southampton winger as a long-term project but also someone who can contribute immediately and are ready to offer him regular first-team football.
Palace knows they’re not alone, with Dibling attracting strong interest from other Premier League clubs.
Crystal Palace is the latest entrant in the race for Dibling's signature
Dibling, one of the few bright spots in Southampton’s dismal 2024/25 campaign, has already attracted strong interest from Newcastle United, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur.
“There’s been interest from Newcastle and Liverpool, but if he goes to either of those two, it would be as one for the future rather than an immediate first-team option,” former Manchester United scout Mick Brown told Football Insider.

Tottenham were also in the hunt; they have cooled their pursuit due to concerns over the valuation.

Brown added, “Somewhere like Crystal Palace would be a better move for him. They’re being ambitious after qualifying for Europe and want to improve their squad.
So if he’s smart, he’ll look at Palace and what they’ve done with the likes of Eze, Wharton, and Olise, and he’ll think he can follow in their footsteps.”
