Cristiano Ronaldo sends birthday wishes to daughter with heartwarming social media post

Cristiano Ronaldo has sent birthday wishes via his social media to his daughter Alana Martina as she turns eight years old. The Al-Nassr superstar made sure to celebrate his oldest daughter with partner Georgina Rodriguez on her birthday today (November 12).

A doting father, Ronaldo posted a photo of Alana on a bicycle with its training wheels on, while she had on one half of a pair of shoes. The child did not look like she was riding the bicycle, and her father made a heartwarming caption on the post via his X account.

"Congratulations my love, daddy loves you very much! 💖", he wrote.

Alana Martina was born to Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez shortly after they began their relationship while he was on the books of Real Madrid. Her birth came just five months after the superstar welcomed twins Eva and Mateo through a surrogate mother in June 2017. The couple have since had a pair of twins, Bella and Angel, together, but saw Angel pass away shortly after his birth in April 2022.

Cristiano Ronaldo lives in Saudi Arabia with his family, having moved all of his children and then-girlfriend with him after he joined Al-Nassr in January 2023. Rodriguez became his fiancee earlier this year after he proposed to her in August, nine years after they first began dating.

Cristiano Ronaldo revealed in his interview with Piers Morgan that his daughters played a key role in the timing of his proposal to Georgina Rodriguez, his long-time partner. The pair became engaged in August, after the 40-year-old decided to offer her an eye-watering engagement ring at their home.

Ronaldo told Morgan that he proposed to Rodriguez at around 1am on the day he did, with a number of his friends present at their home. He revealed that his daughters, who were absent from the scene earlier, showed up just as he received the ring from one of his friends. They then predicted that he was about to propose, and this spurred him to go ahead and do it.

“One of my friends gave me the ring to offer Gio (Georgina), and as I was giving her the ring, my two kids came in and said, ‘Daddy, you’re going to give the ring to mum and you’re going to ask her to get married.' I said, ‘Wow, this is the right moment to say yes.’ Because my daughters said that and my friends were filming, it was what I wanted and I offered (the ring). I didn’t (get on one knee) because I wasn’t prepared, but it was a beautiful moment. I made a speech", he said (via Piers Morgan Uncensored).

Cristiano Ronaldo lives with Rodriguez and their five children, Cristiano Jr, Eva, Mateo, Alana Martina, and Bella. The Al-Nassr man hopes to celebrate his wedding with Rodriguez after he leads Portugal to win the FIFA World Cup next summer.
