The Dallas Cowboys are in a tough divisional spot.
They're contending with the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles and the on-the-rise Washington Commanders in the NFC East.
The Cowboys couldn't really afford to make mistakes this offseason.
But The Athletic feels they definitely made at least one.
"We’re also concerned with the running game, as the Cowboys will regret letting Rico Dowdle walk," writes Vic Tafur.

Tafur shares that thought in the midst of predicting that Dallas will go under the betting total of 8.5 wins this season.
The Cowboys have brought in a lot of new RB faces: Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders as veterans, and Jaydon Blue and Phil Mafah as rookies.
But Dowdle had 1,079 rushing yards and 249 receiving yards last season. It's unlikely an individual will be replicating that in Dallas this season.
