Cowboys urged to add 5-time Pro Bowler to pair with Micah Parsons

The Dallas Cowboys are currently in a contract standoff with pass rusher Micah Parsons.

Dallas has yet to agree to any long-term deal with the 26-year-old pass rusher, and with Parsons entering the final year of his contract, it could be the last season he plays for the Cowboys.

The Cowboys must determine their plan for Parsons in the future and ensure they are building a winning defense for this season.

If this is the last season Parsons plays in Dallas, then the team should do everything it can to make this the best season in Parsons' career, and Kristopher Knox from Bleacher Report thinks the team should sign linebacker C.J. Mosley to pair with Parsons.

"Once Dallas has sorted out Parsons' situation, it should seek additional help for a run defense that ranked 30th in yards per carry allowed last season," Knox wrote. "Players like C.J. Mosley and Raekwon Davis could help strengthen the depth of Dallas' front seven."

Mosely is a five-time Pro Bowler, with his latest appearance coming in 2022, but he could still have a good year or two left in him.

The Cowboys should consider adding another linebacker to the roster, and Mosley would be a great addition to bring into camp to see if he is someone worth putting on the active roster this fall.
