The Cincinnati Bengals have received plenty of interest from around the NFL in the last few months in Trey Hendrickson. Whether it was before the season, when the team was trying to trade for the All-Pro pass rusher, or after Joe Burrow's injury, Hendrickson has been at the center of trade rumors this season.
While the chances he's moved have significantly dropped after the Joe Flacco trade, and subsequent Thursday Night Football win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7, he's still being mentioned as a trade target.
According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Hendrickson has been a trade target for a lot of teams, including the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys have been linked to a few pass rushers, and Hendrickson is the latest Dallas has been reported to be interested in.
The Cowboys made a trade inquiry for the Bengals' Trey Hendrickson
"The Cowboys -- armed with two first-rounders in 2026 and seven picks in total before compensatory selections -- also have looked into Bengals edge rusher Trey Hendrickson, whom the Bengals don't plan to deal," Fowler reports.
Dallas is willing to spend decent draft capital on a pass rusher, but the Bengals aren't planning to trade Hendrickson anytime soon. So, the Cowboys will have to take their draft compensation elsewhere, as Cincinnati isn't likely to trade their All-Pro.
The Cowboys have already made a major splash at the pass rusher spot, as they dealt Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers in a stunning deal shortly before the season began.

Now in need of pass-rusher help, the Cowboys are scouring the NFL for Parsons replacements, and aside from Las Vegas Raiders' Maxx Crosby, Hendrickson is the other big-name trade target the Cowboys have gone after.
But, just like how Crosby isn't on the trade block, Hendrickson is also not available after the Bengals' huge Week 7 win. With a chance to make a run to the postseason, the Bengals are expected to keep Hendrickson with Flacco, reigniting their playoff hopes.
Dallas, with the massive hole Parsons left, has been trying to fill it this season. But so far, their top two trade targets, Crosby and Hendrickson, have both been taken off the block by their respective teams.
While Hendrickson is signed for only the 2025 season, the Bengals aren't planning to trade him, leaving the Cowboys to have to look elsewhere for pass-rusher help.
