Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey's longest field goals come into spotlight vs. Broncos defense

3 hours ago 2

The Dallas Cowboys have the best kicker in football, which is certainly a good thing to have.

At this point, everyone knows about Brandon Aubrey. There's no secret that he has near-unlimited range.

He's particularly important in Week 8, though. That's because the Cowboys are taking on the Denver Broncos.

The Broncos have one of the best defenses in football, led by shutdown cornerback Patrick Surtain II and superstar pass rusher Nik Bonitto.

This is one of those games where, more than usual, the Cowboys may have to settle for field goals.

Except when Aubrey is kicking, it never quite feels like settling. There's something exciting about No. 17 trotting out on the field to kick, especially from long distance.

What is Brandon Aubrey's longest field goal?

The longest field goal of Aubrey's career is 65 yards.

He made that 65-yarder last season.

This season's long for Aubrey through seven weeks was 64 yards. He made that to force overtime against the New York Giants in a game that eventually ended in a tie.

In his career, Aubrey is 29-for-32 from beyond 50 yards.

Overall, he has made 91-of-100 field goals in his NFL career, which makes him the second-most accurate kicker in league history behind Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker.

And no one has a bigger leg from deep than Aubrey.
