The Dallas Cowboys haven't done many things right over the past few years, and much of that has left them not the team they need to be on both sides of the ball. Offensively speaking, Dallas is typically really good, as Dak Prescott was awesome last season, and CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens are both very good players.
There's even an argument that they're the best duo in the NFL. However, the Cowboys now have to decide what they want to do with Pickens contract, and it doesn't sound like it'll be all sunshine and rainbows.
According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, it could become the biggest question of the offseason.
“It feels like the George Pickens situation with the #Cowboys is poised to become the most interesting WR situation we have this offseason,” Schultz wrote.
Considering most wide receiver situations are somewhat done, at least on the free agency market, it makes sense that Pickens' situation will get the weirdest out of the bunch now.
However, it's always tough for Cowboys fans to hear that they're going to be in another weird situation after what Jerry Jones has done over the past few seasons.
After what Pickens did last season, there's not much of a reason not to keep him around. I understand not wanting to pay two wide receivers big money, but he was incredible a year ago.
