Cowboys' draft pick Shavon Revel Jr. was a warehouse worker before a college football player

Shavon Revel Jr. couldn't get a Division I scholarship offer.

And so he attended Louisburg College and worked as an Amazon warehouse worker.

That was four years ago.

On Friday night, Revel became a third-round NFL Draft pick by the Dallas Cowboys.

He made things change quite quickly.

Revel had poor grades and injuries in high school, so two-year Louisburg was a chance to fix that.

The Division III school had its 2020 season canceled, and Revel went to an East Carolina tryout camp in the summer of 2021 after a 10-hour warehouse shift.

Revel showed out.

He ran a 4.4-second 40-yard dash and vertical jumped 39 inches.

Revel got a scholarship offer, contingent on his grades.

Then he dominated in 2023 for the ECU Pirates.

Revel's final season was ruined by a knee injury, and it's likely what led to his slide to the third round.

But the fact that Revel was picked at all is amazing.

He took a unique path to get to this point.

And now he's joining "America's Team."
