A barbaric British dad who beat his newborn baby daughter to death was caught on video moaning about his handcuffs being too tight as he was arrested.
The video of Sean Jefferson, 35, being arrested at home in Bruntwood, England was released this week after he was found guilty for the barbaric March 2022 murder of his 5-week-old daughter Darcy-Leigh Jefferson, according to Birmingham Live.
It caught him arrogantly whining about his treatment as he was arrested for killing the helpless tot who died two days after being rushed to a local hospital with a catastrophic head injury.
“That’s a bit tight, that is, mate,” Jefferson could be heard whining about the ‘cuffs. “That’s very tight. Can you please loose [sic] it?”
As he was told to calm down, he then continued whining, suggesting it was a rights violation despite the calm nature of the arrest and the brutality of the crime.
“I’m putting in a complaint about you. Simple, done,” Jefferson moaned at the officer. “I want your name and badge number. You’re abusing your rights now, mate. Simple.”
“You’re squeezing them, geezer,” he added, using a UK slang term similar to calling someone “dude.”
The father had called an ambulance a day earlier to report that little Darcy-Leigh — who had been abusing throughout her short life — was unresponsive at the family’s home.
She died two days later from the head injury.
Doctors determined the newborn had sustained 47 rib fractures in her short five weeks of life. Both her legs were also fractured.
Jefferson was convicted by a jury on Monday of murder, causing/allowing the death of a child and grievous bodily harm with intent.
The girl’s mother, Amy Leigh Clark, 34, was also found guilty of causing/allowing the death of a child.
“Darcy was violently abused and murdered by her father. Her mother allowed her death. These were the people who should have loved and cared for her,” Detective Chief Inspector Ian Fitzgerald said in a statement.
“It was despicable behavior against a defenseless child.”
Both Jefferson and Clark are due to be sentenced at Stafford Crown Court at a later date.
