Bethenny Frankel is “confused” about a “major” health misdiagnosis.
“I really don’t want to tell you this, but I have to tell you this, because it could help one of you or several of you,” she said in an Instagram video shared on Monday.
The 55-year-old “RHONY” alum told her followers that she recently joined “a medical community” that is “very legitimate” and involves teams of doctors that cross-reference lab results, supplement intake, and more.
Frankel said her doctors told her she’s “been misdiagnosed with something pretty major.”
“They are pretty resolved,” she added.
The Skinny Girl founder implored her fans to always “be thorough” with their health checkups, while warning people to avoid solely relying on ChatGPT for health information.
As for her diagnosis, Frankel said she’s “sort of confused” because she “was operating with the idea” that she had the unnamed health issue.

“I don’t wanna throw anybody under the bus,” she stated. “I tried to do the right thing, and it’s very confusing.”
Frankel reiterated, “I just think that there’s nothing we should be more thorough about than our medical care or our health.”
She captioned her video, “Do your research #health #doctors #yourewelcome.”
Frankel has been open about her health, including by announcing her chronic kidney disease diagnosis in January.
At the time, the mother of one said in a TikTok video that she took a series of blood tests and her kidney function kept coming up low, which led to her diagnosis.
Frankel speculated her condition could be the result of a “traumatic experience [she] had years ago when [she] almost died from an allergy attack,” or it could be an autoimmune disease.
In March, Frankel exclusively told Page Six that getting her diagnosis was “overwhelming” and “slightly frightening.”
“If I’m gonna be fully transparent, it’s annoying. It’s, like, a thing. It makes you feel vulnerable, makes you feel a little fragile, makes you feel aware,” she shared.
But Frankel said her condition can “be managed” via lifestyle choices such as drinking a lot of water and peeing as soon as she wakes up.
