The Washington Commanders are reportedly taking a flyer on former first-round draft pick Treylon Burks.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Commanders are signing the former Tennessee Titans wide receiver to the practice squad, but the expectation is he'll be elevated to the 53-man roster shortly.
"Sources: Former Titans first-round WR Treylon Burks is expected to sign with the Commanders practice squad, with an elevation likely coming quickly," Rapoport said. "Burks had visited Washington and the Broncos. A low-risk, high-reward addition, Burks played in a similar offense in college."
