Jayden Daniels is an incredible athlete.
He showed that as the Washington Commanders rookie quarterback, displaying incredible throwing accuracy and mobility while also being a danger simply running with the football.
That skillset could also work at other spots on the field.
And while the Commanders won't be moving Daniels off of QB, he found a way at OTAs to slot into a different spot.
A cool slow-motion video of Daniels reeling in a pass as a wide receiver recently emerged, and it's just a fun view of Daniels' natural football talent.

That's Marcus Mariota dropping the dime to Daniels.
Maybe there's some trick play potential here for the Commanders to run a reverse and leak Daniels out on the back side of the play for a reception. He's certainly fast enough to run away from a fooled defensive back.
There likely won't be much more of this, though. Daniels was just helping Mariota out with a drill.
He'll soon be back throwing the spirals himself.
