ComicsPRO ’26: Panick and Rocketship enter into strategic partnership

1 hour ago 2

More team-ups in the post Diamond landscape! Panick Entertainment is entering into a major strategic partnership with Rocketship Entertainment for distribution on their just announced second wave of titles.

However, they are also maintaining their relationship with MASSIVE INDIES for select products (a fact misreported earlier today.)

Both of Panick’s partners will distribute their books to comics shops via Lunar, while they will also be available via Universal Distribution and to the book trade via Simon & Schuster.

The partnership with Rocketship Entertainment will give Panick new visibility as they also announces their second wave of titles for spring and summer 2026, with work by Nir Levie, David Dastmalchian, Catherine Corcoran, Ashley Witter, Sherard Jackson, Daniel HDR, Brendan Columbus, Alex Segura, Agnes Garbowska, Mike Kunkel and many more.

Both Panick CEO Kris Longo and Rocketship ceo and publisher Tom Akel expressed their enthusiasm for the new team-up.

Rocketship will publish key PANICK titles, unlocking broader access across comic shops, retail, direct-to-consumer platforms, and emerging sales channels. Together, the companies are doubling down on fearless storytelling, creator-first collaboration, and genre-bending projects that challenge the status quo of mainstream comics.

“I’ve long admired Tom and the incredible company he and his team have built at Rocketship,” says Kris Longo, CEO and Publisher of PANICK Entertainment. “Once we started talking, it was clear we’re kindred spirits. This partnership gives PANICK the firepower to scale, reach new readers, and meet the moment head-on.”

“We were instantly blown away by PANICK’s slate and their approach to the genre. Horror is a vertical that we’ve eyed as a hole in our lineup for some time and PANICK is putting out some of the best, most innovative titles in the market” said Rocketship CEO and Publisher Tom Akel.

Panick titles that were available via Massive will continue in their catalog, and they will also partner on select future projects.

As for Panick’s second wave, here they are, with an EXCLUSIVE promo piece from TAMA. All series will run for four issues.
