Welcome to this week’s installment of The Beat‘s Comics Crowdfunding Round-Up!
SHARKNIFE: FIGHT MACHINE Vol. 1

Goal: $9,000
End Date: February 19, 2026
Goodies: Get the digital copy for $15, the physical comic for $25, the digital books bundle for $35, or at higher tiers get the SHARKNIFE machine Volume 1 for $40!
SHARKNIFE returns in a brand new adventure!
This is worth checking out because SHARKNIFE is pure indie comics chaos in the best way. Corey “Reyyy” Lewis is bringing back one of his most unhinged creations with a full-color, high-energy new chapter that is all about the kind of artwork and flavor that only they can bring to the table. It is a standalone story, so you do not need any prior knowledge to jump in, and the art is bursting with motion and personality on every page.
The campaign is already fully funded, which says a lot about the trust people have in both the character and the creator. There’s a reason their work has been mentioned on the round-up multiple times. On top of that, every physical copy is signed, there are multiple killer variant covers, and stretch goals are already adding free extras.
If you love tokusatsu-inspired stories, mechs, and fantastic action sequences drawn to perfection, check this campaign out before it’s too late!
HEAVY | A Supernatural Horror Comic

Goal: $8,000
End Date: February 19, 2026
Goodies: Get the digital copy for $6, the new physical edition for $15, the variant cover for $18, or at higher tiers get the sketch cover bundle for $30, and much more!
An existential horror about a dirtbag investigating the supernatural disappearance of the little brother he’d abandoned 16 years ago.
When the world’s grief hits a point of no return, large amounts of the global population begin to vanish. It’s a supernatural phenomenon with no explanation, one that strikes without warning and brings the protagonist, Atlas, to look into the disappearance of the little brother he left in the foster care system 16 years ago.
It’s an emotional story, one that dives deep into what it means to be a good person, and what the guilt we carry with us every day says about the kind of person we are, or will be. It’s interesting to say the least, and the team behind this has made over 10 previous successful Kickstarter campaigns.
SINK YOUR TEETH IN #1 – Mature Sapphic Noir Chicago Vampires

Goal: $11,000
End Date: February 19, 2026
Goodies: Get the digital copy for $5, the digital deluxe for $10, the physical copy for $10, or at higher tiers, get the autograph tier for $20!
An undead PI hunts a missing vamp, facing ancient Mob Families, corrupt cops, & a past she buried to survive. Zoe Tunnell/Lauren Knight
Chicago has been a vampire town for years; it’s divided by four rival factions of the influential undead, and everything the city’s got runs through them. That’s where Corsica Smith comes into play. Having long since fallen from her place of power, she is barely able to make ends meet as a private eye. I mean, that intro alone can get me to want to find out more, and it helps that, alongside a well-world-built story like Sink Your Teeth In, the art by Lauren Knight is genuinely something to behold. If you love sapphic noir stories with vampires at their center, and a messy ex-lover, this might just be up your alley!
Dungeon, Inc.
Creators: Ben Felten (Creator)
Goal: $5,845
End Date: February 19, 2026
Goodies: Get the digital copy for $23, the physical copy for $45, and the employee of the month tier for $81!
A reverse dungeon TTRPG by the Merry Mushmen
Dungeon, Inc. is worth a look because it flips the usual fantasy table in a really smart way. Instead of heroic adventurers, you are the monsters clocking in for work, dealing with problem customers who just will not die. The corporate megadungeon angle gives the game a strong hook, but it is not just a joke premise. Underneath that, it is a solid old-school RPG with streamlined rules, fast play, and lots of room for creative problem-solving. Its honestly the kind of thing any forever DM would want to try out to feel something in this vast world of fantasy chaos.
It is also clearly resonating with people. The campaign has blown past its goal with over a thousand backers, and the game itself is already finished, which means less risk and a clearer delivery timeline. If you like OSR-style play, dark humor, and campaigns that can start episodic and grow into something bigger, Dungeon, Inc. is an easy one to recommend.
Young in Iran
Creators: Saw Comics, creators to remain anonymous
Goal: $4,000
End Date: February 21, 2026
Goodies: Get the digital for $15, get the paperback for $25, get the paperback plus five prints for $30, or at higher tiers get the paperback plus 21 prints for $35 and much more!
A collection of 32 personal and emotional memoir comics by Gen Z comic creators in Iran.
Young in Iran offers something rare: an unfiltered, human view of life inside a country most people only encounter through headlines. These 32 memoir comics are based on lived experiences and created by young artists who are navigating restriction, identity, mental health, family, and the quiet weight of daily survival.
What makes this project especially powerful is its immediacy. These stories were completed under real pressure, during a moment of active conflict, by creators who insisted their voices still be heard. Supporting this book means supporting artistic expression where it is most fragile and most necessary.
This project allows them to speak for themselves, ensuring their stories can travel freely, reach global readers, and stand as a lasting record of resilience. Its absolutely incredible and something worth checking out.
