Selina is now living in Carmine’s big fancy tower when Poison Ivy launches her attack on Gotham. She then discusses with Carmine that it will be a good night to try to enact some of their plans that they have been discussing because Commissioner Savage will be distracted.

Selina suits up and leaves the Falcone tower to go check on Holly. She is amazed by what Poison Ivy has done.

Selina makes it to Holly’s and Holly has two friends over. One friend is breaking out into hives and drowsy because one of the plant creatures spat at her. Catwoman says to take her to Gotham General.

Selina breaks into the Icon Towers where she comes across Peter Mueller who is a classic fake tough guy with a gun. He tries to shoot Catwoman but the gun is jammed. As Catwoman knocks him back, the gun goes off and shoots one of the plants. As the plant is hit it releases some dust onto Peter who starts to transform.

Bad seeds indeed.

Analysis

Crossover issues in the secondary titles are usually quick and sometimes pointless to the main narrative in the main books. And I think that is the case here. Selina is living with Carmine and discusses some plans with him but we don’t know what the plan is. I wish we had gotten  that. Is this plan going to bleed over past Bad Seeds or is it a Bad Seeds only storyline.

Also does it seem Catwoman always gets into some trouble whenever she does a big heist? Should she be better at that by now?

Holly and her friends and her story will probably be included into the Gotham Hospital book and I am willing to bet that her friend will turn into a plant monster.

Speaking of plant monsters, I think our guy Peter is going to turn into a plant monster that looks an awful lot like the plant monsters from the famous episode of Batman: The Animated Series when Poison Ivy was growing her own kids.

Overall this doesn’t seem like its fully tied into the main crossover. In any crossover, there’s always books to skip and I think this might be one of them.

BJ has had two passions in his life: sports and comic books. Specifically Batman and Robin. Not a day has gone by where BJ hasn’t watched or read something Batman-related. Currently, his goal is to collect as many Dick Grayson (his favorite character) issues as he can. Doesn’t matter if he’s Robin or Nightwing or Agent 37, he wants them. Another goal he has is to collect the complete Robin run of Tim Drake’s classic series. Raised on reruns of Adam West and was there for the animated series, BJ is down for any version of Batman. The Dark Knight is his favorite movie ever. On any day, BJ is most likely watching sports, watching anything Batman, or The Office.
