A Colorado middle school secretary is on the lam after authorities say she sexually abused a 13-year-old student for months – even plying the boy with booze and weed during their predatory sex sessions at a park and a Walmart parking lot.
Police in Greeley have been unable to locate Brenda Meza, 34, since an initial interview in which she told cops about how she groomed and then had sex with the 8th grader from Franklin Middle School, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by The Post.
According to cops, Meza — who also coaches the cross-country team and advises the games club — said she became so infatuated with the boy that she would get jealous if he talked to girls his own age in school.
She also told the teen that his manhood was bigger than her husband’s and that she felt like she knew him in another life.
The boy told the cops he thought was “corny” but went along with it.
An anonymous tip about Meza’s alleged abuse of the teen came to the school in early February. After school officials confronted her, she went home and confessed to her husband that she “got high” and had creepy interactions with the teen, the affidavit says.
Her hubby then called the cops on her.
At first, the school employee told cops that she and the boy “got super close to each other” — “almost the point of having sex.”
She later admitted to having intercourse with the boy in the back seat of her car, according to docs.
The illicit tryst had taken off after the boy found her Instagram during Thanksgiving break – sparking a series of sick text exchanges, including sexting lewd pics, according to the doc.
During questioning, Meza said she had deleted the nudes from her phone – which included approximately four from the boy – because she didn’t want her husband to see them.
The twisted relationship escalated in January, with Meza purchasing marijuana edibles and BuzzBallz – ready-to-drink cocktails – for the pair to consume during a meetup in a Walmart parking lot.
There, Meza and the boy “started to kiss and touch each other” before moving to the back seat of her car – where they engaged in sexual intercourse for the first time, according to the affidavit.
Just a couple of weeks later, the duo engaged in a second marijuana-fueled romp in the backseat of Meza’s car parked at a local park, before she dropped the boy home again around 9 p.m., according to the affidavit.
A download of Meza’s phone by police later unearthed photos of the duo inside the car, pictures of the boy drinking BuzzBallz and holding marijuana blunts and even images of the two of them together at after-school activities, according to the affidavit.
Disturbingly, the duo texted each other “I love you” a whopping total of 81 times between Jan. 29 and Feb. 12.
The victim, who has attended Franklin for two years, also told detectives that he had sexual intercourse with the secretary a third time, at the same park.
The administrator told the boy she got jealous if she saw him talking to female classmates around the school, but he needed to keep their relationship a secret, according to the affidavit.
Despite Meza later admitting to cops that she knew the boy’s age from his school records, she immediately texted him to “delete my number” upon being contacted by police and school officials about their investigation into the anonymous tip on Feb. 12.
Approximately six hours later, the student sent her a message through Instagram saying he felt guilty and “their [sic] gonna have to talk to me and my mom” – to which Meza responded, “I know I’m sorry.”
The administrator, who worked for a year as a substitute teacher prior to becoming secretary at Franklin in 2020, was placed on administrative leave, according to a letter sent to parents by the school’s principal, Suzette Luster.
Meza was terminated from the role by Feb. 25, the memo stated.
By then, however, she had seemingly vanished.
Greeley Police – who are seeking to charge the disgraced educator with 12 felonies, including sexual assault of a child, Internet luring of a child and tampering with physical evidence, as well as one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor – have been unable to track Meza down.
During a traffic stop of her husband on March 11, her husband said he didn’t know where his wife was – and that he was on his way down to the Mexican border.
The Greeley-Evans School District 6 said it’s assisting police in the investigation, and “student safety and security is always our first priority.”
Anyone with information related to Meza’s whereabouts is urged to call Greeley Police at 970-502-2186.
