As Jost, 43, delivered the news, a graphic appeared onscreen of Saldaña and Johansson’s respective earnings.
“Okay, well let’s see what happens if you include the box office from Scarlett’s husband’s movies,” Jost quipped.
According to The Numbers, Jost has grossed $488,489,123 at the box office. The “SNL” star has appeared in movies such as “The Bad Guys 2” and “Tom & Jerry.”
Jost tied the knot with Johansson, 41, in 2020. The couple share a son, Cosmo, 4. The “Black Widow” star also has daughter Rose, 11, with ex-husband Romain Dauriac (who she was married to from 2014 to 2017).
During the “Weekend Update” segment, it showed the “Her” actress’ earnings as they fell from $15.4 billion to $15.1 billion. Jost started laughing onscreen, looking surprised, and exclaimed, “It went down?”
