Colin Cowherd throws serious shade at Shedeur Sanders after series of bad decisions

Cleveland Browns quarterback has been under a microscope for the last year ever since he joined his father at Colorado and became the starting quarterback. That constant spotlight, and apparent attitude that came with it, is what led to him sliding all the way to the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Browns selected him after already taking Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel, giving them four quarterbacks competing for respective spots on the depth chart. And while many thought this would lead to Sanders keeping his head down and laying low, he's instead been pulled over twice in June for speeding, one of which he was going over 100 miles per hour. This lack of awareness has drawn criticism from all over the media world, including Colin Cowherd who went in on the rookie.

"Bro, you're a B prospect," Cowherd said on The HerdYour dad is Prime Time who led with his ego for years. You need to have a little self-awareness."

Cowherd isn't wrong. On the surface, a young 20-something getting pulled over for speeding isn't a huge deal. When you are trying to show people you aren't the entitled nepo-baby they make you out to be while simultaneously competing for a roster spot, there needs to be some level of awareness and thoughtfulness, which Sanders seems to lack.
