Colin Cowherd accuses NFL of trying to push a Bears agenda

After what was a very impressive year for the Chicago Bears a season ago, there's reason to believe that this year is going to be even better, as long as they stay healthy and are able to do what's needed on both sides of the football, just as they did a season ago.

A lot of this will fall on how Caleb Williams looks, and there's a lot of hope that he's only going to continue to get better after what was a great year.

The NFL is a better product when Chicago has a good football team, and it sounds like some talk show hosts are starting to take that into account differently.

The latest to do so was Colin Cowherd, who went as far as to say that the NFL is trying to put the Bears in the news. The comments follow the NFL's release of the 2026 schedules for all teams.

"I mean the first month alone, they get three home games," Cowherd said, per FOX. "That’s a nice start. Their toughest game is the game in Seattle against the Seahawks. But they even get a break there. They get extra rest from Thursday to Monday. The NFL, they want a Chicago Bears team that is in the news. It’s no gauntlet."

I don't think the NFL is trying to push any narrative here, but it's interesting that Cowherd feels that way. I do believe that the Bears being good is good for the NFL, but I'm curious whether others feel this way now that the schedule has come out.
