But next week, the “feelslikeimfallinginlove” band will reach yet another high-water mark when their biggest-ever gig on the tour is streamed live across India. The Chris Martin-led band announced the deal on Thursday (Jan. 16) in an Instagram post. “Namaste, all our friends in India. We’re so happy to tell you that on the 26th of January our show from Ahmedabad is streaming live on Disney+ Hotstar,” said Martin, adding that fans can watch it from wherever they are in India.

On a tour that has seen the group play stadiums around the globe for multiple nights, the Republic Day gig at the 132,000-capacity Narendra Modi Stadium will be their biggest-ever show. The broadcast will including exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the group.

In a statement announcing the deal, JioStar Sports CEO Sanjog Gupta said, “At Disney+ Hotstar, we have revolutionized India’s entertainment and sports consumption by captivating viewers with unparalleled immersive experiences and consistently delivering value to our partners, advertisers and audiences. Our partnership with Coldplay reflects our commitment to bringing iconic cultural experiences to audiences nationwide. By leveraging our advanced technology and unmatched reach, we are breaking the barriers around privileged access to premium entertainment, and making it available for all, fostering a shared celebration across the country.”

Before the big broadcast, Coldplay will set up shop at Mumbai’s D.Y. Patil Stadium on Jan. 18, 19 and 21. The band will also stream their new 44-minute Moon Music companion movie A Film For the Future on YouTube on Jan. 22, via 360-degree screenings at the Lightroom in London, the Lightroom at Factory International at Aviva Studios in Manchester and Lightroom Seoul in Seoul, South Korea; that same day a fan-led remix of the movie powered by Microsoft AI will launch here.
