The Chanticleers are currently on a 26-game win streak, the longest such streak in the country. The mark dates all the way back to the end of April, as Coastal Carolina has won every postseason game they've played so far.
Now, Coastal Carolina's win streak has the highest stakes possible ahead of a championship series showdown with the Tigers. Coastal Carolina is looking to reclaim the crown it's won once in its program history (2016).

Coastal Carolina's win streak began on April 25th, taking the first game of a three-game series against James Madison. From there, the Chanticleers won their final 14 games of the regular season, finishing 44-11.
Next up, Coastal Carolina played in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, where it won four straight games to take the title. That helped Coastal Carolina earn a chance to host a regional in the College Baseball Tournament, and the Chants cruised to victory against Fairfield once and East Carolina twice to advance.
Perhaps Coastal Carolina's toughest test was in the Super Regionals when it traveled to Auburn to take on the Tigers. However, the Chanticleers took care of Auburn in two straight games, punching their ticket to the College World Series.
Once they arrived in Omaha, Coastal Carolina showed no signs of slowing down, defeating Arizona, Oregon State, and Louisville to advance to the College World Series finals for the second time in the program's history.

The longest college baseball win streak in NCAA history is 34 games, set by the 1999 Florida Atlantic team and the 1977 Texas team. Four other college teams won at least 32 games in a row, with Utah Valley being the most recent team to do so in 2012.
